Kendra Dickerson, the Coordinator of Recycling Programs for the Horry County Solid Waste Authority, has been recognized as the July Community Hero. Her work focuses on environmental education and stewardship.

## Environmental Education Initiatives

Dickerson regularly visits schools throughout Horry County to educate students on topics such as recycling, composting, litter prevention, and environmental stewardship. She has also been instrumental in developing programs designed to foster environmental leadership among students.
