The Kaleidoscope Artisan Collective has opened a new location in downtown Myrtle Beach, significantly larger than its previous space. This expansion aims to foster community engagement with local arts and crafts. The new venue will host workshops, yoga classes, and an exclusive photo exhibition by May Pang featuring iconic images from John Lennon’s life. The initiative is part of a broader effort to revitalize the area and promote local creativity, making it a vibrant hub for both residents and visitors.

Myrtle Beach Welcomes New Kaleidoscope Artisan Collective Location

Exciting news for art lovers and residents of Myrtle Beach! The Kaleidoscope Artisan Collective has made a bright and bold move by opening a brand-new location at 915 Broadway Street. This isn’t just any gallery—it’s massive! In fact, the new space is three times larger than their previous spot. Talk about a room to breathe!

This expansion is part of a bigger initiative dedicated to revitalizing downtown Myrtle Beach. With a focus on encouraging the area’s 400,000 residents to engage with local arts, crafts, and businesses, the collective aims to create a vibrant community hub. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, this is the place to be for everything creative!

More Than Just Art: A Community Space

The larger location means so much more than just more walls to hang art on—it opens up a world of possibilities! Expect to find a variety of artwork and crafts, exciting workshops, and even some relaxing yoga classes on the schedule. That’s right! Soulfully Sara is all set to lead beginner yin yoga classes every Wednesday at 7 p.m.. Can you say “Zen”? And on Sundays at 10 a.m., you can join slow flow yoga sessions that will either be at Nance Plaza or inside Kaleidoscope, depending on the weather. It’s the perfect way to unwind and connect with your inner artist!

Get Ready for an Exclusive Photo Exhibit

As if the new space wasn’t enough to get you excited, there’s more to look forward to! Mark your calendars because on December 10-11, the Art and Frame Gallery will be hosting a remarkable photo exhibition by May Pang. Who is she? Well, May Pang was John Lennon’s companion during the mid-1970s, and she took candid photographs of their life together. The exhibition will feature about 40 stunning photographs, showcasing not just their relationship but also iconic moments from Lennon’s “Lost Weekend” period.

Among the featured photographs, you’ll find some of the last-known images of Lennon and Paul McCartney together, as well as a rare shot of Lennon signing the dissolution contract of The Beatles. Talk about history! Admission to this exhibition is free, and it will be open from noon to 7 p.m. on both days. How cool is that?

And guess what? May Pang will be mingling at the gallery to answer questions and even sign any photos you purchase. For fans of Lennon—or anyone fascinated by the rich tapestry of music history—this is a can’t-miss opportunity!

Don’t Forget the South Carolina Watermedia Society Exhibition!
