Born on December 20, 1957, Scott was a true Sheboygan native, the son of the late Edward P. and Wilma Holm Diener. He spent his early life in the heart of the city, where he attended local schools and graduated from Sheboygan South High School. His passion for education blossomed further when he was awarded the prestigious Charles “Chick” Evans Scholarship at Pine Hills Golf Club, a significant achievement that paved the way for his future.
Career and Accomplishments
Graduating with a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1980, Scott soon found his place in the working world. He dedicated his skills and hard work to Martin Pontiac, Walmart, and for the last few years, he was a familiar face at Meisfeld’s Meat Market, where he continued to serve customers until his retirement in 2023. Scott didn’t just work; he made connections along the way, holding a significant role as a Par Member of the Evans Scholarship Program, which was a reflection of his deep love for golf and the golf community.

Scott leaves behind a family that cherished him dearly. His brother, Bruce Diener, and sister, Annie Lulloff, along with his niece and other relatives, will carry his memory in their hearts. He was preceded in death by his parents, a niece named Kristin Love, and brother-in-law Mark Lulloff.

In honoring Scott’s memory, a celebration of life will take place on Friday, July 11, 2025, at the Town & Country Golf Course located at W1943 County Road J, Sheboygan, WI 53083. Family and friends are welcome to gather from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. to share their favorite stories and celebrate the incredible life Scott lived.
