Columbia, South Carolina – The South Carolina Education Lottery has announced the results for various games held on September 16, 2025, revealing multiple winners in both the Mega Millions and Powerball draws, as well as in the state’s Pick 3, Pick 4, and Cash Pop games.

The Mega Millions winning numbers for the drawing were 10, 14, 34, 40, 43 with a Mega Ball of 05. Players are encouraged to check their tickets as they may partake in significant prizes. Notably, on September 15, a Mega Millions ticket sold at Quick Pantry in Orangeburg won $30,000 with the numbers 6, 14, 36, 58, 62 and a Megaball of 24.

In addition, the Powerball drawing resulted in three South Carolina players winning $50,000 each by matching a selection of numbers: 11, 23, 44, 61, 62, with a Powerball of 17 and a PowerPlay of 2. One ticket worth $100,000 was purchased at Cheapway on Shop Road in Columbia, while winners at Parkers in Moncks Corner, Hot Spot in Greer, and Circle K in Surfside Beach also secured $50,000 each.

The drawing also delivered results from the Pick 3 lottery, with winning midday numbers of 5, 9, 4 and evening numbers of 1, 9, 6, both with a FIREBALL of 5. For Pick 4, the midday numbers were 2, 0, 7, 7 and evening numbers were 5, 1, 1, 0, also with a FIREBALL of 5.

The Cash Pop game produced winning numbers of 02, 04, 09, 20, 39, and the Palmetto Cash 5 yielded a midday winner with a ticket showing 10 and an evening winner with a ticket showing 01.

Winners of up to $500 can claim their prizes immediately at any authorized lottery retailer. For winnings between $501 and $100,000, claims must be submitted via mail and require a signed ticket, a claim form, and a government-issued ID. For claims exceeding $100,000, winners must claim in person at the South Carolina Education Lottery Headquarters located in Columbia, presenting the required documents that include a signed ticket, claim form, government-issued ID, and Social Security card. An Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) option is available for large winnings to facilitate direct deposits.

Winners must be aware that all claims must be finalized within 180 days of the draw date. Additionally, one lucky winner recently earned $200,000 from a Clemson Jackpot scratch-off ticket purchased at Food Lion in Roebuck, keeping $140,000 after taxes, despite the winner not being a fan of Clemson.
