A Life Dedicated to Family
Gordon is remembered as a devoted father. He leaves behind cherished memories with his children: Mark Hayes, Kim Peyton, and Patricia Hayes. The family honors him as a proud father, and he was a devoted grandfather, affectionately known as “grandpa” and “papa” to his grandchildren, including Crystal Garrity, Nicki Hayes, Kai Mackintosh, Carter, Adam, Braeden, and Colton Bernier.
Beyond his immediate family, Gord is also survived by his siblings, Valerie, Brian, Greg, Margaret, and David. Gord’s appreciation for speed didn’t just stop at sports; he had a particular passion for fast cars, especially Mustangs. There was nothing he enjoyed more than the thrill of the open road behind the steering wheel of his favorite car. Each year, he looked forward to taking trips to Myrtle Beach with his brothers and friends to tee off on the golf course, where laughter and friendly competition reigned supreme.
