In a series of high school baseball matchups against South Carolina teams, Virginia Beach teams suffered defeats in their recent games. The Beach baseball teams put up a strong fight but were unable to secure victories against their formidable opponents from across the state line.

Catawba Ridge (S.C.) 7, Cox 2

The Copperheads of Fort Mill, South Carolina, proved to be a tough challenge for the Cox baseball team, resulting in a 7-2 loss. Despite their best efforts, Cox struggled to keep up with the strong performance of the visiting team. The game saw standout plays from Louis Schultz, Parker Wight, and Austin Irby, who each contributed with home runs but were unable to secure the win.

Ashley Ridge (S.C.) 6, First Colonial 1

The First Colonial baseball team faced off against the Swamp Foxes of Summerville, South Carolina, in a challenging matchup that ended in a 6-1 loss for First Colonial. The Bulldogs proved to be the team to beat in the TCIS as they swept both the doubles and singles matches. Standout performances from Joseph Hobbs, Julian Burke, Will Howerton, Lucas Varverud, Nathan Rafal, and Davis Doummar helped Norfolk Academy maintain their status as the team to watch in the conference.
