Addressing a packed venue during his introductory news conference on June 18, Miller discussed the strategic vision for the 8,000-seat facility designed to host the university’s basketball and volleyball teams. Funding and Development Plans
Slated for construction at the corner of 500 and University Boulevard, the funding for this massive project will derive from a 1 percent sales tax, already approved to support Horry County’s educational infrastructure needs.
