North Myrtle Beach Brewery Hosts Freedom Fest: A Day of Food, Music & Family Fun

The much-anticipated Freedom Fest is all set to take place on July 3rd, 2024, at the reputed Crooked Hammock Brewery in North Myrtle Beach. Organized a day before Independence Day festivities, the event promises a unique blend of live music, tasty food, enjoyable activities for children, and a hot dog-eating contest, creating an environment of fun-filled family time.

Highlights of the Festival

Adhering to true American tradition, the Freedom Fest is featuring a hot dog eating contest. Participants will be given ten minutes to eat as many hot dogs as they can. The event promises to be a riveting, mouth-watering spectacle that is sure to increase the festivity of the day.

Apart from the competition, the brewery will also serve specialty dishes including an appetizing BBQ Big Dog. The BBQ Big Dog is a delicious hot dog loaded with pimento cheese, juicy pulled pork, and honey barbecue sauce – a sumptuous feast that is not to be missed.

Creating Bonds: Fun for the Family

But the celebrations are not just limited to food and music. The event planners have taken into consideration the holiday spirit and have arranged a patriotic friendship bracelet craft activity for kids, aiming to encourage creativity and bonding among the young attendees.

Erin Pollard, a representative from the Crooked Hammock Brewery, explained the concept behind the event saying, “We like to have that backyard cookout vibe here, and what better than 4th of July to do that. So, bring your family out. We have a backyard setting here it looks just like your backyard. You can come out, let us cook for you, let us clean up for you, and just come out and enjoy your family for the day.”

The Freedom Fest is scheduled to be held on July 3rd at The Crooked Hammock Brewery, conveniently located at Barefoot Landing in North Myrtle Beach. The event will commence at 11 a.m. with the hot dog eating contest scheduled for noon and the live music to set the atmosphere starting at 2 p.m.
