Two arrested after violent altercation in North Myrtle Beach

In a shocking turn of events, a violent altercation unfolded in North Myrtle Beach resulting in two arrests. Francisco Mora Reyez and Crescendo Cruz Morales have been charged by the North Myrtle Beach Police Department for assault and damage to property
Bloody Confrontation on Madison Drive South
The North Myrtle Beach Police responded to an incident on Madison Drive South on Monday, where a male victim reported having his neck cut by a knife by a known associate. The victim was found outside, with a bleeding laceration on the left side of his chin and neck. After entering the premises, the police apprehended Reyez and Cruz Morales.
The victim informed the police that he was on the ground floor of the building when the incident took place. As he was preparing to leave with some friends, Cruz Morales and Reyez, who were inside the upper premises of the building, allegedly yelled at him and threw bottles at his car. In addition to Reyez and Cruz Morales, two other individuals allegedly joined in the assault, but they were not located or identified.
Property Damage and Assault
According to the police report, Reyez allegedly began punching the victim’s car, resulting in a broken windshield and damaged side mirrors. The report further stated that Cruz Morales was in possession of a black knife at the time. He is charged with assaulting the victim with the knife, leaving the victim with cuts on his chin and neck.
The victim was able to positively identify both Cruz Morales and Reyez after the incident, making their apprehension possible. The motive for the attack is currently under investigation; however, the victim believes it was triggered by workplace jealousy, according to the report.
Arrests and Charges
Reyez and Cruz Morales were arrested as a consequence of the alleged attack. Reyez faces charges of Malicious Damage to Property for his purported violent rampage on the victim’s car. Cruz Morales, who allegedly inflicted physical harm on the victim with a knife, has been charged with Assault and Battery High and Aggravated.
Medical Attention and Ongoing Investigation
The victim was taken to North Strand Emergency Room for medical attention. His condition is currently unknown. The incident remains under investigation by North Myrtle Beach Police, who are working to locate and identify the remaining two alleged assailants.
