Salsa under Stars: Dance Night Away at Myrtle Beach Social Event
Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
In the perfectly picturesque coastal city of Myrtle Beach, a unique and entertaining social event, Salsa Under the Stars, has caught everyone’s attention. The great outdoors of 1229 Shine, located near The Market Common, becomes a vibrant dance floor where salsa-loving socialites can dance all their worries away. The event provides not only a night full of laughter, dance, and new connections, but also music, food, and drinks for a comprehensive sensory experience.
Salsa for Everyone
To make this event more inclusive and diverse, newcomers to salsa are equally welcomed. R&R Dance Studio will conduct a free beginner Salsa and Bachata Dance lesson prior to the social dancing kickoff. This initiative aims to spread the love of dance among all attendees, regardless of their previous experience with salsa or bachata.
Building Community Through Dance
Salsa Under the Stars goes beyond just a typical social gathering. It serves as a platform for community engagement and interaction. “This has probably been one of the most fun events that we put on here. Again, I love that people just come together whether you know them or don’t know them, and by the end of it, everybody’s just having a good time together,” mentioned Sydney Demer, Events Coordinator at 1229 Shine. The event is set to take place on Saturday, July 27th, starting at 6 p.m. with a free beginner’s lesson. Social dancing will commence from there and continue until 9:30 p.m.
Recurring Dancing Nights
For those unable to attend the upcoming event, fret not! Salsa Under the Stars also recurs monthly on the second Thursday of each month. Hence, this is not a one-off opportunity and dance lovers can look forward to many such evenings in the future.
Upcoming Events at 1229 Shine
In an episode of continued social festivities, 1229 Shine has planned to host a Kids Back to School Bash on Saturday, August 24 at 2 p.m. The bash includes initiatives like inflatables, face painting, an ice cream truck and live music, adding a dash of fun for kids gearing up for another round of school life.
