William Miller, the Museum’s institutional planning coordinator revealed their anticipation that ‘Cultural Currency’ could be a major crowd-puller. This contemporary art exhibit pulls from the notable Riemer collection, which was started in 1995 by Louise and Davis Riemer, art-loving investment advisers. Further elevating the experience, the Myrtle Beach Art Museum is offering free art workshops every Saturday in August from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. These workshops are open to all ages and encourage visitors to explore their artistic sides, taking inspiration from the ‘Cultural Currency’ exhibit and incorporating monetary themes into their creations.
