Currently, he boasts an impressive track record, being a three-time American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) All-American, which includes a first-team selection in 2024. According to the AJGA rankings, he is currently the second-ranked junior golfer in the United States.

In addition to his domestic achievements, Jackson Byrd has represented the United States in several prestigious international competitions. These include his participation in the Junior Ryder Cup team held in Italy in 2023, the Junior President’s Cup team in Canada in 2024, and the Toyota Cup in Japan.

Jonathan Byrd, who will be competing alongside his son, has a storied history in the sport. He holds fifth place for rounds in the 60s with 30 rounds, fourth place for total birdies with 505, and third place for top 10 finishes with 26. With 23 years of professional experience on the PGA Tour, Jonathan Byrd has achieved notable accolades, including five tournament victories. Throughout his career, he has participated in 487 PGA Tour events, achieving 26 top-five finishes and 46 top-10 finishes. His best performance came in 2003 when he finished in eighth place at the Masters, a record that still stands for former Clemson golfers.
