Conway Celebrates Halloween with a Spooktacular Parade!
In the heart of Conway, South Carolina, excitement was in the air Saturday morning as locals gathered to show their pride for the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers and embrace the festive vibes of Halloween. This year, the annual Conway Halloween Golf Cart Parade combined forces with the CCU Homecoming Parade, and let me tell you, it turned into a “monster” of a celebration!

More than 15 golf carts from Conway and another 15 golf carts from Coastal Carolina decorated in the most creative ways you could imagine rolled down the streets. It was a parade for all, with everything from spooky ghosts to festive cheer, and the creativity of the parade participants was nothing short of incredible!
The parade kicked off from the Conway Public Safety Building on 9th Avenue and took a scenic route through the heart of downtown, wrapping its way through Laurel Street before finishing up at the intersection of Marina Drive and Elm Street. Along the way, there were plenty of cheers, laughter, and festive shouts from the crowd eager to catch a glimpse of the fantastic floats and performers marching past.
Community Spirit Shines Bright
One thing that stood out was how this event really showcased the community spirit that Conway is known for. Local businesses were out in full support, and families were taking part in the festivities in their favorite Halloween costumes.
