I Love Seafood Fest Returns to Myrtle Beach on October 26 with Fun, Food, and Community Spirit

Seafood Festival Celebration

Myrtle Beach, Get Ready for the I Love Seafood Fest!

Calling all seafood lovers! If you’re in Myrtle Beach, mark your calendars because the I Love Seafood Fest is making its grand return on October 26. After some pesky weather tried to spoil the fun, we’re finally set for a day full of delicious bites and heartwarming community spirit!

A Festivity for a Cause

This will be the third year of this fantastic festival, and it’s not just about stuffing our faces with seafood (though, let’s be real, that’s a big part of it!). The event is all about supporting a noble cause. Proceeds will benefit the Dayson Diamond Youth Foundation, a 501c non-profit that aims to assist children with incarcerated parents.

Darryl Dayson, the festival’s founder, shared why this event is especially close to his heart. “I’m celebrating my brother coming home from incarceration, and this is a wonderful thing. The Dayson Diamond Youth Foundation actually supports children with incarcerated parents, so it’s a cause-driven event,” he said. It’s truly inspiring to see how a fun-filled day can also lend a helping hand to those in need!

Seafood Delights Await!

Get your appetite ready because the I Love Seafood Fest will showcase some of the freshest catches from the Carolinas and beyond. Expect to see seafood vendors from not just our beloved coast but also from Maryland, Florida, and even Jamaica! You’re bound to find your favorite dishes, whether it’s crispy calamari, buttery lobster rolls, or spicy crab cakes. You name it, they’ll probably have it!

Live Cooking Demos!

But wait, there’s more! The festival isn’t just about munching on delish seafood. You can also catch live cooking demonstrations. Watch as talented chefs whip up your favorite seafood dishes right before your eyes! Who knows, you might pick up a trick or two to bring the taste of the festival back to your own kitchen.

Tunes to Savor While You Munch

What’s a seafood festival without some tunes to enjoy while you chow down? Prepare to tap your feet to the sounds of national recording artists who will be lighting up the stage. So whether you want to eat, dance, or simply soak in the coastal vibe, there will be something for everyone!

Fun for All Ages

The best part? This festival is all about family fun. Bring your loved ones and make it a day out to remember. There will be activities to keep the kiddos entertained while you indulge in all that scrumptious seafood. It truly is a great chance to bond over tasty bites and enjoy the warm Myrtle Beach sunshine.

Don’t Miss Out!

If you are as excited as I am, be sure to swing by the I Love Seafood Fest on October 26! It promises to be an incredible day of local flavors, community support, and unforgettable memories. Don’t miss out on this coastal feast that celebrates not only seafood but also the heart of our community!
