As Chief Executive Officer of the Myrtle Beach Downtown Alliance, Jason Greene, explains, “Our intent is for this event to continue to grow month after month.”
The History of First Friday Artwalk
The First Friday event traces its roots back to 2017, when local photographer Carl Kerridge and artist William H Miller launched the initiative. Since then, the event has continued to grow with William H Miller Studios hosting an art reception in tandem with the monthly event.
