Set your calendars for September 27, because that’s when the Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival’s Harvest Hoedown takes place! From 5 to 10 p.m., Landfall Lodge at 350 Chestnut Grove Road will be the place to be. Enjoy a hearty dinner by Jordan Springs Market, sip on seasonal favorites from the cash bar, and dance the night away to live country music by Chris Darlington. Plus, don’t miss your chance to take part in the exciting raffles featuring a Stetson hat and nine fabulous farm market baskets filled with local goodies!

Golf for a Good Cause!
On October 3, the Walt Cunningham Memorial Golf Tournament is teeing off at Rock Harbor Golf Course, with check-in starting at 8 a.m. and a shotgun start at 9 a.m. This fantastic event benefits the Winchester Area Transitional Shelter (WATTS) and promises a good time with golf, drinks, contests, and prizes – including a chance to win a Myrtle Beach golf trip! It’s $125 to participate or gather a team of four for $500, which includes everything from greens fees to a boxed lunch from Billy Sous.

Golf for Thanksgiving!
On October 17, you can enjoy a round at the Richard G. “Dickie” Dick Memorial Turkeys for Sharing Golf Tournament at Rock Harbor Golf Course. The day starts with registration at 11:30 a.m., followed by a noon boxed lunch and a 1 p.m. shotgun start. Proceeds benefit the local Salvation Army, which helps provide turkeys for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
A Football Celebration!
October 19 marks an exciting day for sports fans with the Washington Commanders vs. Dallas Cowboys watch party hosted by Our Health at Audley Farm in Clarke County.
