Get Ready for the 40th Annual Taste of the Town in Myrtle Beach!
Myrtle Beach is buzzing with excitement as the 40th annual Taste of the Town is just around the corner! Mark your calendars for next Tuesday, October 22, because from 4 to 9 p.m., the Myrtle Beach Convention Center will be the place to be for food lovers!
Feast on Fantastic Flavors
This yearly event is all about indulging in delicious dishes from numerous local restaurants scattered across the Grand Strand. If you’re a foodie or just someone who enjoys a great meal, this is your chance to sample some of the best culinary creations Myrtle Beach has to offer. Remember, this isn’t just a delightful evening filled with good food; it’s also a fundraiser for St. Andrews Catholic School. So not only will your taste buds be tantalized, but you’ll also be contributing to a great cause in the community!
Discover Downtown Dining
This year, there’s an added twist! The Myrtle Beach Downtown Alliance has teamed up with Taste of the Town to introduce their new D3 series—”Discover Downtown Dining.” Ten of the downtown restaurants will be showcasing their best dishes, giving you a taste of what makes downtown Myrtle Beach such a yummy spot! Jason Greene, the CEO of the Myrtle Beach Downtown Alliance, mentioned, “The Discover Downtown Dining event is a great way to showcase restaurants and get folks a taste of what each restaurant has to offer. It’s all about making our downtown a walkable and lively destination.”
So, whether you’re new to the area or a lifelong local, you’ll have the perfect opportunity to explore what downtown has in store for all you culinary adventurers!
Spooktacular Halloween Fun Ahead
But wait, there’s more! The fun doesn’t stop with Taste of the Town. The Myrtle Beach Downtown Alliance has planned several spook-tacular Halloween events to kick off the spooky season! Every Friday and Saturday night from 5 to 9 p.m., you might just cross paths with some fun zombies roaming the streets during the Fright Nights. It’s a great way to get into the spirit of Halloween while enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of Ocean Boulevard!
And don’t forget about Scary Sundays! Families can come on down from 1 until 4 p.m. for live DJs, spooky characters, and even costume contests. Dress up the kiddos and join in on the fun—you might win a prize for your creativity!
Now, if you’re looking for a Halloween celebration, you won’t want to miss the Halloween Boo Bash on Thursday, October 24. It kicks off with Trick-or-Treating at 3 p.m., followed by a lively Halloween costume parade at 5:30 p.m. You’ll be dancing to live music by Tru Sol that’ll surely keep the festive spirit alive!
