Trump Claims Harris has shifted to ‘Full Communist’ Following Release of Economic Strategy Filled With Handouts

Pennsylvania, USA

Former President Donald Trump recently lambasted Vice President Harris for her newly revealed economic plan, accusing her of going “full communist.” The comment was made during a lively campaign rally in Wilkes-Barre Township, Pennsylvania, where he characterised her policies as being unattainable promises.

“Comrade Kamala”

“In her address yesterday, Kamala went full on communist,” said Trump, in his characteristic contentious style, before a gathered crowd of supporters. “They’re calling her ‘Comrade Kamala’ now!”

He went on to criticize Harris’s proposal for “socialist price controls”. Likening her approach to that of President Nicolás Maduro’s regime in Venezuela and the policies of the old Soviet Union, Trump declared, “The socialist price controls. That’s what ‘Comrade Kamala’ wants. Such controls have never worked before.” He asked rhetorically about the outcome of the Soviet Union’s experiment with such controls, then answered his own question with a resounding, “And how did the Soviet Union feel?”

Harris’ Economic Policies

Recently unveiled, Harris’s economic plan consists of a set of strategies aimed at alleviating “price gouging,” “excessive prices,” and “excessive corporate profits,”. Her proposed method? Federal price controls, painted by her campaign as an antidote to such issues. Nevertheless, Trump remains unconvinced, predicting that these measures will simply lead to rationing and a surge in prices. “It will cause rationing, hunger and skyrocketing prices. Inflation has been so bad, it’s gone up much more than 50%. They say 30%, 40% —many more people are being devastated.” he added

VP Harris’s economic road map includes expanded down payment assistance for first-time homebuyers and a $6,000 child tax credit for first-time parents, in what she calls an “opportunity economy” plan christened “Kamalanomics” by the masses on social media.

Trump’s Rebuttal

Trump hit back at Harris’ economic policy condemning it as unworkable. He highlighted how similar strategies of price fixing were attempted by other countries and without exception, ended in failure. “The things that she said yesterday don’t work. They’ve never worked. They’ve been used by many countries, and in every single event, it ruined those countries.” He added,

Trump accused Harris of promising “things she can’t deliver,” dubbing her plan as a representation of “a communist system.” He referred to the Biden-Harris administration’s attempt to write off student debt as an example of such unkept promises, which he called out as unsuccessful: “Just like when she and Crooked Joe tried to give away student debt. How did that work out? Not too good.”

Finally, he addressed the younger demographic, who had been swayed by Biden’s promise to wipe out student debt. He cautioned that while a communist takeover might seem appealing in terms of policy, it carried with it significant risk and danger. “The students are saying, ‘I love him because of student debt,’ but he got rejected,” Trump asserted. “Her plan is very dangerous because it may sound good politically, and that’s the problem. … This is Marxist, this is fascist.”
