The former-president expressed his disappointment to find his competitive landscape suddenly altered. He had been prepared to contend against Biden, but after the latter withdrew from the race, the Democratic party’s nomination was taken up by Kamala Harris. However, the narrative changed when she secured enough delegates to officially become the party’s nominee.
