Teams from all around gathered for a competitive two-day tournament, and the West Florence girls golf team made quite an impression, finishing in a strong third place overall!

A Weekend to Remember

The excitement was palpable as golfers took their swings and putted across the pristine course. After all the clubs had been swung and scores tallied, it was Carolina Forest that took home the championship glory with a total score of 654. Following closely behind was Hilton Head Island, who secured second place with a commendable score of 664.

The West Florence team, full of determination and grit, wrapped up the tournament with a score of 681. While there was a bit of space between them and the second-place team, their performance was solid and showcased their dedication this season.

Top Performers from West Florence

It was a thrilling spectacle with some outstanding individual performances on the West Florence team. Leading the pack, Addison Suggs put on a stellar show by finishing in 13th place with a score of 168, just +24 over par. Addison’s skills were definitely a highlight of the tournament and a contributing factor to the team’s overall score.

Following Addison, both Kingsley Wilson and Carson Jeffords found themselves tied for 15th place with scores of 171 (+27). Their consistent gameplay surely kept the team’s spirits high as they navigated the course. Meanwhile, Lana Claire Jordan finished in 18th place with a score of 172 (+28) rounding out the top performers for West Florence.

Not to forget, Natalee Batchelor and Brylee Stokes also contributed to the team’s efforts, finishing in 32nd and 35th places with scores of 189 (+45) and 197 (+53) respectively.
