Walking onto the course, they could hardly contain their excitement, but nothing could prepare them for the magical atmosphere where even a bagpiper playing amidst the morning fog welcomed competitors on the first hole.
Ten Years Later
Fast forward to October 2024, the author found themselves once again at Yeamans Hall. This return sparked countless memories and reflections on nearly a decade of growth, both personally and as a golfer. The course has remained unchanged in its challenging beauty, with features designed to test the skill of even the most seasoned player.
The cross bunkers, elevated greens, and those iconic par-3 holes kept the author on their toes. Every stroke required precision and strategy, especially when tackling the elevated greens that could easily send a ball rolling into collection areas or deep bunkers. Certainly, two-putt pars were treasured accomplishments on the large, undulating greens!
