The Clemson Tigers men’s golf team, under the leadership of Head Coach Jordan Byrd, has announced a newly revamped schedule for the 2025-26 season, which promises to be packed with thrilling tournaments and fantastic experiences.

Get ready because the Tigers will be swinging into action with nine regular-season tournaments, including an impressive six first-time events for the program! This year, the team will be playing across a whopping seven states: South Carolina, Florida, Tennessee, Wisconsin, California, Georgia, and West Virginia. So, it looks like there are plenty of opportunities for fans to cheer them on no matter where they are!

Returning Talent and New Faces

This season, Clemson is welcoming back a strong core of players who have been crucial to their success. Five lettermen will be returning to the team: Lucas Augustsson, Rich Wills, Justin Burroughs, Thomas Higgins, and Colin Salema. These seasoned players will bring a wealth of experience and skill to the course.

Adding some fresh energy to the squad, the team will also see four newcomers join the ranks. Freshmen Jackson Byrd, Samuel Duran, and Tip Price, alongside transfer Oscar Holm-Bredkjaer, are all set to make their mark! New team dynamics can often lead to exciting outcomes on the green.

Fall Season Kickoff

The fall season is set to kick off from September 7-9, 2025, at the Myrtle Beach Golf Trips Intercollegiate held at the prestigious Grande Dunes Resort, hosted by Coastal Carolina. After that, the Tigers will hit the fairways at The Honors Course in Chattanooga, TN for the first time in a regular-season matchup. This course has a rich history, previously hosting an impressive lineup of events, including the legendary 1996 NCAA Championships, where none other than Tiger Woods took home the medal.

Not to be left out, the third tournament in their fall schedule is the Bryan Brother Collegiate, set for September 29-30 at Salina Country Club in Columbia, SC. That will be followed by a trip to Wisconsin for the Marquette Invitational at Erin Hills from October 5-7, which is another first for the team at this renowned course that held the 2017 U.S. Men’s Open.

To wrap up their fall season, the Tigers will head to the Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate from October 24-26, an event they’ve participated in 18 times before, showcasing their long-standing relationship with this great venue.

Spring Season Action

Looking ahead to the spring, Clemson’s season will kick-off at The Prestige tournament from February 16-18, 2026, at the Greg Norman Course at PGA West in La Quinta, California. It certainly sounds like an idyllic backdrop for some exciting golf competition!

The thrill continues as the team heads to the John Hayt Intercollegiate at Sawgrass Country Club in Jacksonville, Florida on March 7-9, a place where they clinched the team championship back in 2021. They’ll also be playing the Hootie tournament at Bulls Bay Golf Club in Mt. Pleasant, SC from March 21-23, marking their first return to this venue since 2013!

The regular season will conclude with the Mountaineer Invitational at the Pete Dye Golf Club in Bridgeport, WV on April 13-14, making it their inaugural competition in West Virginia! Excitement is certainly building!

Looking Toward Championships

The ACC Tournament will take place from April 23-27 at Sharks Tooth Golf Club in Panama City, Florida, a course that seasoned Tiger veterans are quite familiar with. Following that, NCAA Regional tournaments are lined up for May 18-20, 2026, with locations spreading from Athens, Georgia, to Marina, Arizona, promising a chance for some thrilling match-ups.

Finally, all eyes will be on the NCAA Championship, set for May 29 to June 2, 2026, at the Omni La Costa Resort in Carlsbad, California. This will be the third consecutive year this fantastic venue will host the big event, so excitement is sure to be in the air!

With this incredible schedule, it’s going to be an action-packed season for the Clemson men’s golf team. Fans will surely have plenty to be excited about, as these Tigers are ready to roar into a new journey filled with fresh challenges and memorable moments!
