Arrest Followed Alleged Face Stabbing
In a shocking turn of events, a woman in Myrtle Beach was arrested following her claim of being stabbed in the face. According to reports received by the HERE News Network, Desiree Lynn Dalessandro, 38, flagged down a local police officer stating she had been assaulted.
Robbery Charges and Marijuana Possession
Dalessandro is facing charges of attempted armed robbery, shoplifting, and possession of marijuana. The incident reportedly took place on Mr. Joe White Avenue and North Ocean Boulevard where she managed to get the attention of an on-duty officer.
High-Value Property Allegedly Stolen
Dalessandro reported to the police that a group of individuals under Pier 14 had stolen property from her which she estimates to be worth $100,000. According to her, one member of the group snatched the knife she was carrying, stabbed her in the face with it, and discarded it into the ocean.

The man furthermore stated that he had no knowledge of Dalessandro’s missing property. Following her arrest, Dalessandro was found in possession of marijuana, and allegedly, a stolen bracelet. The bracelet reportedly comes from a Myrtle Beach store shoplifted earlier that day.
