MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — Early November is feeling more like late summer in Myrtle Beach and along the Grand Strand, and the warmth sticks around another two days before a cold front cools things off for the weekend.
Wednesday brings a breezy afternoon with plenty of sun. Inland spots should climb into the lower 80s, while the beaches top out in the mid-to-upper 70s. The forecast for Myrtle Beach calls for a high near 75 with an east wind of 7 to 9 mph.
Thursday looks much the same, though humidity and clouds will build, and a stray shower could pop up late in the day, mainly well inland. Expect some patchy fog before 9 a.m.
Friday is the best shot at rain as the front moves through. The chance of precipitation is 50%, with thunderstorms possible after 1 p.m., but totals should stay under a tenth of an inch outside of any storms.
Drier air follows. Saturday should be sunny with a high near 70, and Sunday tops out near 67 with an overnight low around 50.
