The South Carolina Gamecocks football team is scheduled to host Kentucky on Oct. 3 at Williams-Brice Stadium. The Southeastern Conference announced that kickoff for the game is set for 4:15 p.m. and it will be broadcast on SEC Network.
The Gamecocks currently hold an all-time series lead against Kentucky with a record of 22-14-1 and have won the last four matchups. Last year, South Carolina defeated Kentucky 35-13 at Williams-Brice.
South Carolina’s current overall record is 2-1, with an 0-1 record in the SEC. The team recently experienced a 41-34 home loss to Mississippi State and is scheduled to play No. 8 Alabama this week.
The Kentucky Wildcats hold an overall record of 2-1 and a 1-1 record in the SEC. The Wildcats recently upset No. 9 Texas A&M in College Station and are set to host South Alabama this week. Kentucky was just outside the AP Top 25 this week, ranking as the unranked team with the second-most votes.
