Myrtle Beach, S.C. — A Monday crash closed all northbound lanes of S.C. 544 from Nottingham Lakes Road to Kingswood Drive in Horry County, the Horry County Police Department said.
Officers worked the scene while crews cleared debris from the roadway, and drivers were urged to avoid the stretch and use an alternate route while the lanes stayed shut.

Officials initially said the roadway could remain closed for an undetermined amount of time while the investigation and cleanup continued.
