MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — No one was hurt Monday when a vehicle ran into the state Department of Motor Vehicles office in the Market Common area of Myrtle Beach, fire officials said.

The Myrtle Beach Fire Department responded to the branch at 1330 Howard Parkway and is looking into the crash. Capt. Jonathan Evans of the department said the building took some damage, and so did the deck that surrounds it. Officials have not said what caused the vehicle to strike the office.
