MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Annie Andrews closed out her Grand Strand campaigning on Sunday, Nov. 1, with a rally at The Market Common in Myrtle Beach that drew roughly 750 supporters.
Andrews faces Republican Darline Graham on Tuesday. She told the crowd she has worked all 46 South Carolina counties over the past 18 months and pointed to living costs, health care access and keeping rural hospitals open as the issues she would focus on.
She asked supporters to carry the campaign past the rally by contacting other voters and getting them to the polls, and said she hopes to win over people outside her own party.
Early voting in Horry County ended Saturday, Oct. 31, after running at seven centers, including the Carolina Forest Recreation Center and the South Strand Recreation Center at 9650 Scipio Lane in Myrtle Beach. Anyone who has not voted can cast a ballot at an assigned polling place on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 3, and photo identification is required.
