MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — Breeze Airways said Tuesday it will launch seasonal nonstop service into Myrtle Beach from Tweed New Haven Airport in Connecticut and from Portland International Jetport in Maine in late May 2027, expanding Northeast and New England access to the Grand Strand.
New Haven flights are scheduled to begin May 26, 2027, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, with introductory one-way fares advertised from $59. Portland service is set to begin May 27, 2027, on Thursdays and Sundays.
Breeze founder and CEO David Neeleman said in a statement that every new route starts with where direct service can bring travelers a convenience they do not already enjoy, and that the additions bring high-value, low-cost flights to those cities.
From New Haven, Breeze already lists nonstops to Charleston, several Florida cities, Norfolk, Richmond and Raleigh-Durham, plus one-stop BreezeThru options. The New Haven-Myrtle Beach promotional No Flex Fare is described as available on new reservations for travel May 26 through Sept. 7, 2027.
Myrtle Beach International Airport has posted record passenger volumes in recent years and continues to add airline service and nonstop routes aimed at Northeast and Midwest markets, matching the leisure traffic that underpins Grand Strand tourism.
Breeze operates more than 300 year-round and seasonal routes serving 95 cities and flies an all-Airbus A220-300 fleet. Portland International Jetport recorded nearly 2.6 million passengers in 2025, a state record, according to figures cited with the route announcement.
