HERE BREAKING

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — Breeze Airways is lining up 11 new nonstop routes from Myrtle Beach International Airport, a jump that airport leaders say will push the carrier’s map here to 25 destinations when the flights start next spring.

Service to New York Stewart International Airport and Albany International Airport is set for May 28, 2027, with Monday and Friday frequencies on those Northeast links. Introductory one-way fares on the Stewart route were advertised from $59, with limits and availability rules.

Airport director Judi Olmstead called the wave a major moment for MYR and the Grand Strand travel market. The carrier arrived at the coastal airport early in 2024 and has since more than doubled how many seats and departures it sells here.

The broader package also reaches Buffalo plus markets in New England, Pennsylvania and Ohio. Albany passengers can use a BreezeThru option that continues to Orlando after the Myrtle Beach stop without changing planes.

Albany officials framed the Myrtle Beach link as another leisure outlet for Capital Region travelers. Breeze already flies from Albany to Raleigh-Durham, Charleston and Fort Myers, and founder David Neeleman said new routes aim at cities where a direct hop is still hard to find.
