Producers for the History Channel series American Pickers are lining up November filming stops across South Carolina, North Carolina, and Virginia and are asking private collectors to share leads.
The documentary follows antique pickers hunting historically significant or rare items and the stories behind them. Organizers say they want private collections, not storefronts or other places open to the public.
The show does not visit stores, flea markets, malls, auction businesses, museums, or similar public venues. Collectors who want to be considered should send a name, phone number, location, a short description of the collection, and photos.
Leads can go to [email protected] or (646) 493-2184. Producers have also been reaching out through local chambers of commerce as they plan the regional shoot.
