MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — Toffinos Italian Bakery & Deli in Myrtle Beach landed on DoorDashs 2026 Top Pizza Spots list for the South, the only South Carolina restaurant selected in the national rankings released for National Pizza Month.
DoorDash built the list from delivery data covering September 2025 through September 2026. Qualifying spots were small and medium-sized brands with fewer than 10 stores, at least 1,000 reviews on the platform, and among the highest average customer ratings.
Toffinos sits in The Market Common at 550 Farrow Parkway and serves pizzas along with pastas, sandwiches, salads, pastries, Italian cookies and cake. The shop describes itself as Myrtle Beachs original award-winning Italian bakery, with family recipes dating to 1890.
Ten restaurants made the South regional list. DoorDash said Americans placed nearly 30 million pizza orders on the platform in 2025, with pepperoni the most-ordered topping and white pizza the most-ordered style.
Tourism remains the dominant economic engine of Myrtle Beach and the broader Grand Strand, drawing more than 20 million visitors a year, so a nationally flagged neighborhood pizza counter sits in a market that thrives on visitor and local dining demand.
October is National Pizza Month. DoorDash framed the Top Pizza Spots campaign as a nationwide expansion of its Battle of the Slices spotlight on neighborhood pizzerias.
